Analysis of the S&P 500 index 12.30.22

What’s on the market now:

Today the index is trading at 3848. Yesterday we saw a reversal and a sharp rise in the index that I mentioned earlier. Today there are few participants in the market, which almost excludes any sharp movement of the index.

What today:

Today at the open of the market, I expect the index to make an attempt to drop to the level of 3828-3815. There is still a positive mood in the market. We will see new trends in the new year.

Here are my trading recommendations for today 12.30.22

What I recommend:

  • If you want to open a short position:

Short positions are possible from 3950 level, limit your losses

  • If you want to buy:

Long positions are possible from 3815 level, limit your losses.

  • If you are not in the market:

If you’re out of the market. Then you need the perfect price to trade. Long positions are possible from pullback or from 3815 level. If you want to open a short position, then it is better to do it from the level of 3950. Limit your losses.
